Japanese model / low-stimulation IVF

In recent times there has been much focus on low stimulation protocols to improve egg quality and protect patients against too much medicine, and finally the risk of overstimulation.
Likewise, the increased cost for medication on new drugs for patients a desire to reduce drug costs and still maintain a good chance of becoming pregnant  was seen.

We have, in cooperation with ISMAAR organization proposed a gentle treatment with the principle that we will only have a few ovarian follicles, but maintain good pregnancy s chances.

The treatment is also called Japanese model, where we use the tablets in the form of tamoxifen or clomiphene combined with a low dose of FSH.

Our initial results were promising and now presents the first definitive treatment cycle of a total of 29 treatments has been finalized.
Pregnancy rate for these patients was 31% overall clinical pregnancy per started treatment and a total of 11 children.

The pregnancy rate for our patients up to age 40 is fully satisfactory and with medication is the price:
 
Low stimulation IVF 9,500 kr for the IVF and app 5000 kroner for the medication, Thus a total of 13360 kr

Common IVF on public hospital costs DKK 5000 for IVF treatment and approx. 10,000 kroner in medicine:

Total public hearing 15000 kr 

 
To qualify for this treatment, the woman must be under 40 years old and have normal blood tests for FSH, LH, AMH.

Here you can go directly into our journal and write down all information. It is important that you also already been taken by the GP Hepatitis B and C and HIV test on the woman and any male partner.

Then you get a time within 5 working days to interview and start reading.

Det som vi tror på Copenhagen Fertility Center kommer til at ske, er at medicin anvendelsen til IVF behandlinger kommer at blive ændret.
Vi har på Copenhagen Fertility Center i flere år arbejdet med forskning indenfor minimal stimulation og kan i dag foretage fertilitetsbehandlinger, specielt IVF med meget lavere og anderledes skånsom medicin end tidligere.

Ventetiden i offentlig fertilitetsbehandling stiger

På Copenhagen Fertility Center må vi nu konstatere at ventetiden nu på flere Danske offentlige fertilitetsklinikker er meget lang. Vi har derfor intensiveret vores behandling og modtagelse af nye patienter på klinikken.

Vores tilbud om en gratis uforpligtende samtale på klinikken, har mange ufrivilligt barnløse gjort brug af. Her kan barnløse enlige eller par få den sidste nye opdatering på behandlinger og muligheder både i det offentlige og private.

Specielt er der mange som ikke er klar over at Copenhagen Fertility Center har mulighed for at behandle inseminations patienter via Sygeiskringen.

Copenhagen Fertility Center

Copenhagen Fertility Center will have a visit from the famous and well-known Fertility Clinic in Thessalonike called Iakentro. This clinic has during the last couple of years developed one of the largest oocyte donation programs in Europe, and many of our patients has benefitted from this treatment. More than 60% of all our patient going to Greece have been pregnant. Triada, the main coordinator for this service will be in Copenhagen Fertility Center during the next week.

Cost for IVF

The cost for IVF seems to increase although the technologies and the knowledge of this treatment has increased during the last decade. The Copenhagen Fertility Center and the team behind this has through  research and training enabled to keep the prices for any ART treatment to a minimum.

This clinic has not increased the prices in the last 5 years although the technology has improved considerably.

The influenza is on return

Good news for the women in fertility treatment or early pregnancy in Denmark. The attack of swine influenza in Denmark is on its way out again. Therefore healthy women in fertility treatment can relax, as they will not be in any special risk group. When they get pregnant, the epidemic will be over or their influenza attach will come so early in pregnancy, that this will probably not harm them at all.

Therefore we advise women in treatment to be carefull, washing their hands, but do not be nervous, said Professor Svend Lindenberg, Copenhagen Fertility Center
